Wichita getting second Academy Sports & Outdoors store

Academy Sports & Outdoors is adding a second store to Wichita, this time in the northeast part of town, a spokesman for the Katy, Texas-based company says. The roughly 72,000-square-foot store will be at the southeast corner of Greenwich Road and K- 96 and should open late this year, says Allan Rojas, senior communications coordinator.
